Cerro Castor

History

This Center has its origin by year 1984, when Juan Carlos Begue, one of the pioneers of the ski in Ushuaia, began to think about the necessity of a Winter Center taking advantage of the strategical geographic location of the city and its mountains.

The study took a long period of time, but it obtained its reward and that was a Hill of optimal conditions, the Krund Hill. The cold South slope keeps the snow in excellent conditions in the center of the Mountain, where today it is the heart of the "Cerro Castor".

16 Years of dreams and hopes that today are reality, confirmed in a Ski Resort of superb geographic, human and technical conditions.
