Enjoy the winter in Ushuaia.
Tierra del Fuego, and specially Ushuaia, has been permanent source of inspiration and challenge for adventurers and explorers. At the moment the fluid transportation, an important hotel infrastructure and its winter centers allows the discovery of this destination for the winter tourism.

White adventure

   
 
Short trip of 1.5 km of extension made in dog sleigh to the camp site located in the forest. There is a big tent with warm heat inside at the camp site waiting for you.
From the camp site an excursion with snow raquets begins up to the Alvear cascades. This long walk takes 1 and half hour and it is guided by a professional guide. Back in the camp site a hot chocolate provide new energy for the return using the dog sleigh.
The duration of the tour is 3 hours, regular departures from Tierra Mayor Valley at 10 am and the minimum is two people.

Night walk with snow raquets to the camp site. This long walk lasts 3 to 4 hours roundtrip and it is guided by a professional guide. At the camping site an exquisite mountain stew and roasted apples is served. It includes drinks and coffee.

Ushuaia offers a wonderful natural environment to enjoy adventures and panoramic views of great beauty.
" The White Safari " is one of those adventures that takes us to explore images from the highest points, surrounded by the winter landscapes.
The tour start with a transfer to the chairlift at the base of the Le Martial glacier, located 7 km away from the city. From this place we start to walk using the snow raquets, with special crampons that make the ascent easier, to arrive finally to the glacier area. During the tour the natural surroundings are offering a changing landscape that goes from hoist caducifolias and evergreen forests to the intense white of the snow.
From the top White Safari provides a unique panoramic view of the city next to its bay, the Beagle Channel and the Navarino island.
This special landscape will be the ideal place to enjoy a hot chocolate. Once we rest we start our way down to the city.

The National Park Tierra del Fuego opens its doors throughout the year. So the winter also is a good season to discover it. From the green color of the summer, through red and the ocher ones of the autumn, a special touch to the southern landscape given by the white color of the winter.
If you have the idea of visiting and croos snowy narrow paths, do not hesitate in doing it in a special way: with snow raquets. This accessory of old data will allow you to enjoy more of this view, making the walk the snow easier.
The tour begins in Ushuaia, with a transfer in excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park by the national route #3 until arriving to Lapataia river. There the snow raquets are assigned to each passenger, to initiate the walking towards the Laguna Verde panoramic point. Back to the starting point, the tour continues by bus Toca Lake, from where we go back to Ushuaia.
