Explore the only Argentine National Park that combines mountains, sea, and forest.
Tierra del Fuego National Park is located 12 km from the city of Ushuaia.
The excursion begins by traveling west along National Route 3, crossing the Pipo River Valley until reaching the Austral Fueguino Railway Station. This was one of the areas where inmates of the former Ushuaia prison worked.
After a brief visit to the facilities, those who wish can take the Prisoners’ Train or the End of the World Train, which lasts approximately one hour. Those who do not take the tour will continue with the guide on the bus, entering the National Park to meet up with the rest of the group at the Park Station.
We’ll continue our visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, with its breathtaking landscapes, stopping at key sites such as Lake Acigami and Lapataia Bay (the end of the Pan-American Highway, which begins in Alaska and ends at Tierra del Fuego National Park), where you can take a photo in front of the unmissable End of the World sign. At each site, we’ll take short walks to appreciate the different species of native forest and wildlife preserved within Argentina’s southernmost National Park.
