The tour starts from the turistic pier ‘Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli’ located at Ushuaia Port area. Just one block from the main street.
We shall navigate Southwards through Ushuaia Bay. We will have a beautiful panoramic view of the city and its main attractions such as: the old prison (that today host the Maritime Museum), the ‘Museo del Fin del Mundo’, the industrial area and mounts Olivia and Cinco Hermanos.
A few minutes later we will reach Beagle Channel waters and set course towards Bridges Archipelago. In its islands we will see colonies of birds, such as Imperial Cormmorants, South American Terns, Giant Petrels, Black-browed Albatross and Kelp Gooses. Also we will see an important colony of sea lions.
From this point we will start navigating Eastwards to reach Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse about 17km away from Ushuaia city. After a few minutes to take some pictures we shall continue our navigation towards the East on an scenic tour which includes islands, mountains and valleys.
We will see some constructions and small towns on both sides of the Beagle Channel like Remolino Ranch and Port Almanza on the Argentinian side. And Port Williams (an small town in the chilean island of Navarino).
After navigating close to Gable Island to see it particular geography (which gives origin to it name), we will finally arrive to Isla Martillo. From the shore we will see an important colony of Magellanic Penguins and an smaller one of Gentoo Penguins.
After a few minutes watching this non flying birds in its natural emvironment we will start our way back to Ushuaia City.
