The tour starts from the turistic pier ‘Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli’ located at Ushuaia Port area. Just one block from the main street.
We shall start our navigation southwards through Ushuaia Bay from where we will have amazing panoramic views of the city, the mountains and valleys.
A few minutes later we will be sailing Beagle Channel waters towards our first destination: Bridges Archipelago. On it islands we will observe some colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Sea Lions.
If weather conditions allow us, we will have the opportunity to disembark at one of the Islands to do a short walk during which we will learn more about local flora and to get the best pictures of Ushuaia city and the Andes behind it.
We will continue to the East until we reach “Les Eclaireurs” archipelago. Located about 17km to the South-East of Ushuaia city, it host the lighthouse that had became an important symbol of the ‘Southernmost City on Earth’. There, together with other colonies of sea birds and sea lions, we will see remains of Saint Christopher Cruise Ship which sank in the area in 1930.
After a few minutes to take pictures of Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, the catamaran will start navigating back to the city through the northern coast of the Beagle Channel where we will see Tunel Ranch, Playa Larga Natural and Cultural Reserve and the industral area of Ushuaia.
